Marriage is one of
the biggest decisions a man can make. It signals the beginning of a new chapter
in life, a chapter characterized by love, maturity and responsibility. It’s
what every little girl dreams of growing up, and what every guy frets about
through most of their young adult life. The bond that marriage creates is
stronger than any other interpersonal relationship you will have in your entire
life. But before the soon to be Mrs. can agree to join you in holy matrimony,
you have to throw down some hard earned cash and buy a Bolt
Spring Finger Ring.
There’s a persistent old wives’ tale that’s been around for decades that a
diamond engagement ring should cost between 2 and 3 months of your salary. Not
only is this rule extremely subjective, it’s just flat out wrong. NEVER buy a
diamond based on price alone! When purchasing a rock for your lovely lady’s
ring finger you need to evaluate the stone according the Four C’s: Cut,
Clarity, Carat Weight and Color.
Color is also a
determining factor when purchasing diamonds. The fluorescent color scale starts
at D (almost completely clear) to Z (Yellow). The closer to clear the diamond
is, the more it is worth. A diamond’s fluorescent quality is often confused
with color, but the two having nothing to do with each other. Fluorescence is
determined by tiny trace amounts of boron inside of diamonds that show up under
ultraviolet light. Strong fluorescence can make a nearly clear diamond less
valuable by giving it a somewhat milky appearance, but it can actually improve
the quality of a lower color grade diamond by making it seem more brilliant to
the naked eye.
It is a cast iron
plate that provides a pivot fulcrum for the diaphragm spring, a friction
surface for the disc and a mounting surface for the drive straps. To add
further description, the Bolt
Spring Finger Ring is like a spring-loaded clamp that is bolted to the
flywheel. It consists of a sheet metal cover, heavy release springs, a metal
pressure ring that provides a friction surface for the clutch disc, a thrust of
ring fingers for the release bearing and release levers. The release levers
lighten the holding force of the springs when the clutch is disengaged. Some
high-performance pressure plates are "semi-centrifugal," meaning they
use small weights on the tips of the diaphragm springs to increase the clamping
force as engine revolutions increase.
